Welcome!

I am an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the College of Charleston where I primarily teach analytical and environmental chemistry.

Analytical chemistry plays a central role in understanding the chemistry of the natural world, as well as how our world has been altered through anthropogenic activities.

My research lab is busy year round with undergraduate students involved in research on the environmental implications of nanotechnology. We are currently developing nanomaterials that can be used as water treatment tools.
